First Crash Heartbreak
You know, I feel like the first time a new game or software crashes is the most heartbreaking. Up until then you just don't really worry about it, because you always assume (or at least, I know I do) that the game will be fine. You have this blind confidence in it and don't really worry about what 'might' happen.
Then it crashes.
Out of nowhere, it just stops working. And all that confidence vanishes. From then on, whenever you play the game you just think to yourself 'ok, shit, hopefully this doesn't cause it to crash' and you end up feeling like you're walking on egg shells while playing/using it. Suddenly it's a lot harder to get immersed because you don't have that same faith as before.
It happened to me with Bannerlord, most recently. It suddenly became 'a game that crashes sometimes' instead of just 'a game'. It's sad, really.
...
Anyway, newer, shinier HS2 installed and working fine (for now).
