Also, don't be annoyed with me, she's literally called 'Beret Girl' in the Disney Wiki. That's not just me not bothering to learn her name. I remember the Goofy Movies being pretty darn good when I was a kid. They tackled some interesting issues (a single dad, most notably) while also being really nicely animated and fun. Plus they weren't your typical, massive Disney productions, so they had a more 'outsider' feel to them in a way. Working on this kind of awakened a weird sense of nostalgia in me. That typical, 'simpler times' type nostalgia, but a bit more focused, I guess you could say. Back when I originally watched this movie I thought life was a linear series of events. Like: 1. A still image can, often, be a thousand times better than an animation even if only because animation is so much harder to get right. When you're animating something it needs to be perfectly fluid and natural or it'll just seem stilted and awkward. Facial expressions are more difficult to get right, you often times need to worry about sound design and blah blah blah. Basically, I don't think a video is inherently better than a collection of images. THAT BEING SAID if I was ever going to consider animating one of my pieces, it'd likely be this one. I just really like the set up and I think seeing it animated would actually add something, since the movements are pretty different from the norm. Not gonna do it (probably), but I'd almost consider it. ... You might not believe me but when I start...
