(Not so Short) Short: Gwen and Ezekiel

It's weird calling this a 'Short' when it's longer than my first two comics that weren't shorts.

So this was fun. This probably marks the end of the goth girls for a little while. I've only got one other from cartoons I used to watch who I could make and she's more 'punk' than 'goth' anyway. She's also from a much more obscure show. At least... I think.

I think Gwen turned out alright. It could obviously be better, but I think it's recognizable as her and that's what matters. Then again, you could put that hair and outfit on a bear and it'd be recognizable, so maybe that doesn't mean anything.

Picking her partner was kind of difficult, and a definite stumbling block for a while. There weren't really any guys on the show that sprang out to me as good candidates, either because they were too likeable or too good looking. Ezekiel struck a happy medium between 'stupid and unlikeable' and 'unattractive'. 

I stopped watching the show at Total Drama Action, because it just sort of got stupid. I think TDI was the definite peak, since there was a good balance between realism (at least in the sense that the show within the show felt somewhat plausible) and goofiness. I mean, obviously it's not 'realistic' since fucking Bigfoot shows up, but... you get what I'm saying.


I looked into it a bit and apparently Ezekiel turns into some kind of Gollum parody and ends up living on an island of monsters. So that's the kind of 'unrealism' that I think is a bit excessive. I was thinking about having it be Gollum Ezekiel in this but I have NO idea what the fuck is going on there, so I wouldn't want to try and write a scenario around it.

Again (like Box Ghost) Ezekiel doesn't talk too much. Mostly because his voice is stupid, but also because... Okay, so I think Ezekiel would've learned about sex from watching farm animals do it. His parents probably never would've taught him, or taught him some weird shit so I'd imagine he has a very primitive understanding of it. Hence why he only does doggy-style at first. It's how animals do it.

I also think while doing it he'd be very focused and not really think to talk dirty or make tons of noise. GWEN on the other hand I see as a huge masochist who's normally pretty vocal during sex, but was... less than interested in trying to talk dirty with Zeke. Hence why she talks a lot in her head and only says a few lines when she can't help herself.

Anyway.

Needless to say there is more to come with Total Drama Island. I can think of one blonde in particular who's a bit too hot to not do a scene with.

Obligatory Mascot Character Time

  So, I guess it’s finally that time. It’s completely unnecessary to do, but whatever. I might as well have a mascot character. This is Vertica. Say ‘hi’, Vertica. Alright, Vertica, calm down. So anyway, I’m not sure why I made a mascot character. I guess I was tired of the old, generic background and figured the blog needed some more personality. Not really thrilled with her design, but it’s just kind of what I came up with. I tried to add some flair where I could, but overall she’s kind of… plain looking I think. Tomo and the Train Molester

Half of it's talking, which isn't great, but what can you do? I realize it's weird to have a story based on a Chikan event where there's no actual Chikan, but... I dunno. That's how it goes sometimes. Though it DOES give me an idea for a FUTURE story that could be really good.  Anyway, like I said, I might do Misuzu/Misaki/Ferris in the future, I might do another Tomo. Probably won't do Carol, since she's kind of... not my type. Weird, since she used to be my favorite, but something about her's a bit too 'cloying' for me. She feels kind of Barbie-ish, and not in a good way. Not that she's not cute, she's just probably not gonna get her own story.
