And now - on the completely opposite end of the tonal spectrum - porn of a character from an Extremely Goofy Movie. Also, don't be annoyed with me, she's literally called 'Beret Girl' in the Disney Wiki. That's not just me not bothering to learn her name.

I remember the Goofy Movies being pretty darn good when I was a kid. They tackled some interesting issues (a single dad, most notably) while also being really nicely animated and fun. Plus they weren't your typical, massive Disney productions, so they had a more 'outsider' feel to them in a way.

Working on this kind of awakened a weird sense of nostalgia in me. That typical, 'simpler times' type nostalgia, but a bit more focused, I guess you could say.

Back when I originally watched this movie I thought life was a linear series of events. Like:

1. Go to High School

2. Graduate High School

3. Go to College

4. Graduate College

5. Get a Job

6. Get a Family

7. Die.

Roughly.

It was a time when I thought life was a lot more predictable and... easy than it turned out to be. Instead life is kind of like:

1. Go to High School

2. Graduate High School

3. WHO THE FUCK KNOWS?!

4. Die.

You grow up to realize the future isn't nearly as clear or set in stone as you thought and that's both a good and bad thing. It's the unfortunate nature of the times we live in and probably the one thing I envy about older generations. If it weren't for that living at any point in the past would have no appeal to me.


But enough about that. This dog with a hat is the hottest thing since the universe's last kugelblitz. 

Now for those of you worried that finding this character hot is going to make you more of a furry, let me put your mind at ease:

There's nothing wrong with being a furry.

I'm not one, but I'm friends with some and the really shocking thing is that they're entirely normal people who just jerk off to THINGS and STUFF that we deem weird. But you know what? We ALL jerk off to weird things. That's the nature of fetishes. As long as your fetish isn't causing anyone harm (well... nonconsensual harm) it's perfectly fine.

You can jerk off to shoe laces or pictures of goats or bathroom tiles. It really doesn't matter. 

That being said, this character is so low on the 'furry' spectrum that it really doesn't qualify. This is about on the same level as an anime character with cat ears. It's... it's really not weird. Change her nose a bit and she's human. It's really that simple.

Now if you're jerking off to GOOFY, on the other hand...

Obligatory Mascot Character Time

  So, I guess it’s finally that time. It’s completely unnecessary to do, but whatever. I might as well have a mascot character. This is Vertica. Say ‘hi’, Vertica. Alright, Vertica, calm down. Nobody likes a kiss ass. Now quiet down and let me finish this post. People are gonna get bored and click away if it's just you yammering about nothing. So anyway, I’m not sure why I made a mascot character. I guess I was tired of the old, generic background and figured the blog needed some more personality. Not really thrilled with her design, but it’s just kind of what I came up with. I tried to add some flair where I could, but overall she’s kind of… plain looking I think. Tomo and the Train Molester

Half of it's talking, which isn't great, but what can you do? I realize it's weird to have a story based on a Chikan event where there's no actual Chikan, but... I dunno. That's how it goes sometimes. Though it DOES give me an idea for a FUTURE story that could be really good.  Anyway, like I said, I might do Misuzu/Misaki/Ferris in the future, I might do another Tomo. Probably won't do Carol, since she's kind of... not my type. Weird, since she used to be my favorite, but something about her's a bit too 'cloying' for me. She feels kind of Barbie-ish, and not in a good way. Not that she's not cute, she's just probably not gonna get her own story.
