So I was trying to come up with a good comic for Christmas, since I missed out on Halloween (though a Halloween-ish comic comes out almost every other week, so meh) and... well, what am I supposed to do for Thanksgiving?

Anyway, I wanna do something for Christmas. So I thought what better present than letting YOU GUYS pick the next comic? And I don't just mean picking the characters, I mean MAKING the characters.

The poll attached lets you pick the main traits of the guy and girl of the next comic. It could be about a cheerful, tan tomboy and her fat stepdad or the blonde-haired, blue-eyed foreign exchange student Elizabeth von Ralschburg and her creepy teacher. Or... I dunno, it could be utter chaos. Like a cold, calculating gyaru with glasses and the extremely jacked, bearded child she's babysitting. 

Whatever. Even if it ends up being super weird, I'll try to make it work. I just think it'll be fun. I plan on keeping the poll open for two weeks, until the 21st or so. Then I'll close it and start working on the comic. I don't know if it'll be done by Christmas, but it should definitely be completed by New Years.

    Oh shut up man vertica is adorable. Anyways, you knew damn well while giving me the form that I'd choose the man to be the fattest, oldest bastard possible. This is a great idea to increase engagement not gonna lie. Excited to see how this turns out, hope you release the poll results 2 weeks later!

      You're doing your civic duty, sir. I appreciate it. I'm only worried that there are too many options and the results will be way too spread out. Buuut if that IS the case, whatever. Live and learn. Next poll will be better.
      I think it'd also be fun to just do a raffle at some point. Make a similar form and pick one random person's submission to make a comic around. Not sure when I'll do it, but... eventually.

Obligatory Mascot Character Time

  So, I guess it’s finally that time. It’s completely unnecessary to do, but whatever. I might as well have a mascot character. This is Vertica. Say ‘hi’, Vertica. Alright, Vertica, calm down. Nobody likes a kiss ass. Now quiet down and let me finish this post. People are gonna get bored and click away if it's just you yammering about nothing. So anyway, I’m not sure why I made a mascot character. I guess I was tired of the old, generic background and figured the blog needed some more personality. Not really thrilled with her design, but it’s just kind of what I came up with. I tried to add some flair where I could, but overall she’s kind of… plain looking I think. Tomo and the Train Molester

Half of it's talking, which isn't great, but what can you do? I realize it's weird to have a story based on a Chikan event where there's no actual Chikan, but... I dunno. That's how it goes sometimes. Though it DOES give me an idea for a FUTURE story that could be really good.  Anyway, like I said, I might do Misuzu/Misaki/Ferris in the future, I might do another Tomo. Probably won't do Carol, since she's kind of... not my type. Weird, since she used to be my favorite, but something about her's a bit too 'cloying' for me. She feels kind of Barbie-ish, and not in a good way. Not that she's not cute, she's just probably not gonna get her own story.
